America prides itself on equality. This is a disgrace and things like this shouldn't be happening in this day and age. Has nobody read their history lately? Segregation was banned years ago!

This is a completely private function. The idea of a whites-only prom absolutely disgusts me, but then again, they legally have the right to do so. It's part of their 1st amendment right to assembly. Though people would probably argue against this, though it is very divisive in nature, it is a peaceful gathering. Therefore, it cannot be banned.
Though I do think it's a very pointless and horrible idea to do.
