802 22nd Avenue is a Crack House

Dear Seattle PD,

The house at 802 22nd Avenue, Seattle WA 98122 is full of crack dealers, and attracts prostitutes and drug users to my neighborhood. Recently they have moved in with the crazy man that rents the home from form the landlord, who I believe is Matthew F. Gardner of 3314 S Morgan St, Seattle, WA 98118. The dealer who lives there now has been dealing on this corner for years now so I assume that either you don't care or are in some way in on it. Any help is much appreciated.

I would call City hall and the local news.

Dude - Take pictures (i hear you know a good photographer) and post them here for us all to heap scorn upon

Banking on the fact that the SPD reads your site, are ya? Isn't there some sort of reporting line for this sort of thing? Glad it's not in my zip code. All we got down here is tourists tripping over their feet gazing up at the Space Needle.

In reply to your posting about the "Crack House", I offer this solution. I grew up in a much larger city, but with the same problems. My parents and neighbors kept track of dates, times, physical descriptions and licenses plate numbers for what appeared months. Good reconnaissance takes time, knee jerk reactions are by nature just reactionary.

It seems you've been at wits end for sometime, and have done some of the preliminary work, cheers. Now engage you neighbors, not in an attempt to incite any vigilante actions, but to gather opinions. Some have to be equally frustrated. Ask them to also keep track of activity. Then when you feel the time is right give a simultaneous call to the SPD. When confronted with tangible proof, not rumor, conjecture and bias, they have to act. This may not result in immediate arrest, but an investigation will be launched. If they (SPD) fail to act you then have the right to question the watchers.

I offer this solution out of sympathy for your plight. At the same time I don't wish for you to be victimized, I don't want anyone else falsely accused. As an African-American male with piercing and a goatee, the acrid term of drug-dealer has been peppered throughout my pedigree. When in truth I have a dual degree acquired while working full time from 7AM-3PM Monday-Friday and an IQ of 110.

Having written my first short story at eight years of age, and taken my first photo at ten further illustrates my passions. I'll keep the achievement list short. Achievements don't elevate one above their peers, it's simply a path I walk proudly.

For anyone fed up with crack dealers, crackheads and the crime these dregs bring with them, take a look at one group of residents did in Camden, England:

Horrific photographs of street users, but great to see a community fighting back.

I to am dealing with a crack house very close to my house the crack house is at 355 nw 88th st in greenwood and is owned by an old man named Walter Wies who just lets these crack heads take advantage of him. He says that he is trying to save there soal's . Hello these bastards dont want to be saved they just want a free ride. So now after dealing with this for years and getting little help from SPD and no help from the health dept and building dept I have started a email campain. Emailing every tom dick and harry I can find in government service and social service about this problem and I will continue to do so till the tummer is eraticated. Please feel free to email me for this list as it is very dificult to find these addresses it might save you some time. I have discovered that our government officals dont want to have these email addresses out there it helps to keep there deaf ears turned
